You know the Friends episode where Monica goes to a sample sale to get her wedding dress? She hands out whistles to Rachel and Phoebe to blow when they find the dress. A stampede of women race into the store. Monica ends up wrestling with a woman for her dream dress, whistling for her girlfriends to back her up. I imagine Wednesday’s sale is going to be the virtual version of this. Like Monica, you may want to get a strategy.
Some styles we have lots of, but others there are very few. For the styles with not as many available, time is crucial. Last week I gave you the first tip of following us on Twitter to receive updates. My next helpful hint is to create an account on our site before the sale begins. You’ll be able to enter your shipping and billing address so it’s one less thing that needs to be done during the checkout process.
I am so excited for Wednesday. The warehouse is about 90% ready. I’ll be doing the final product count on Tuesday. Today I’m working on getting the website ready and making sure I have enough shipping supplies on hand. Thursday my friends will be coming over for a shipping party to get all the orders boxed up. Don’t know what I would do without them. I just keep running through things in my head, hoping I haven’t forgotten to handle something. It’s going to be a crazy week, but I’m looking forward to every minute of it.
