Tricks of the Trade

Cezanne-lock Okay, so it’s been a little bit since Cézanne was debuted, everyone is settling down from the holidays, writing their thank-you notes, and busting out their brand new Jordana Paige bags.

It has come to our attention that while we may know our bag inside and out – all of you are just becoming familiar with your brand new friend. We know that process can be a magical one, transferring all your belongings and tools from your old bag to your new one, carrying it for the first time, getting a million and one compliments, and then down the road, breaking it in just right.

To make sure this relationship is a equal partnership we want you to get 100% of  the benefits Cézanne has to offer. One of those benefits is a metal turn clasp closure and we’ve got a trick for making sure it’s done just right.

The trick is this: you must pull out and twist the tab at the same time. It’s a simultaneous effort that in actuality makes for a more secured closure as this tab should never shift or come undone once closed properly.

Did this information help at all? If so, please tell us about it in the comments because we love hearing what you guys have to say!

I was just thinking about this today. I received a Cezanne for Christmas and love the bag but am a hard time with the clasp. Thanks for this!

  3. I kept reading comments about the closure and it almost kept me from purchasing this bag, but this post made me rethink things. I’m ordering one right now!

Great post–I am finding the clasp easier to use as it breaks in/as I get used to it. Love my bag–thanks for all the hard work you put into it. It shows! :)

I just got my Cezanne in the mail today! I’m beyond excited and actually squealed out loud. The quality of this bag is fantastic, and I can’t wait to carry my knitting with me everywhere I go without having to take a second bag.
