At the end of September I received an email from a producer at DIY’s Knitty Gritty asking if I’d be interested in being a guest on the show. Yes. We threw some ideas back and forth, but at the time I was going out of town, unable to put together a decent submission.

I was worried I had missed my opportunity, but upon my return I sent in the final idea. It was accepted! I’ve been wanting to share forever, but wanted to get approval first. My taping is scheduled for December 12th. What a great birthday gift!

I’ll be using Louet Sales yarn for my kitschy project on the show. It arrived today so I can get to work. I’ve really had a thing for Louet yarn lately. I’ve done a couple pattern submissions now using it. I think I’m loving that it (gems merino) is both machine washable and dryable.
